A wonderful view of Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple North Tower with orangey dawn time sky reflected by the sunset in the fine Evening. This temple is known for its tremendous architecture, 4 tallest towers(Raja Gopurams), and 33000 sculptures. This is one of the most famous, oldest and historic temples in India dedicated to "Goddess Meenakshi(Parvati)" and her Consort "Lord Shiva as Sundareshwarar(Sokkanaathar)". Meenakshi is worshipped a Queen of Madurai. She is a daughter of Malayathuvaja Pandian. Hence Lord Shiva is konwn as Sokkanaatha Pandian after he got married to Meenakshi.
